Day Trip to SF.
On the drive over, we found out firsthand why commuting is overrated, even with the carpool lane. Also, there were some ominous looking clouds and some rain, but fortunately these were short-lived.
Our first stop was at the buffalo paddock in Golden Gate Park - no pics here, but that is OK because a picture can not do justice to a buffalo defecation - you just had to be there.
The Dutch Windmills and adjoining Queen Wihelmina Tulip Garden:
Japanese Tea Garden - Cora's favorite part was climbing the moon bridge.

Nap time, and a drive through the Presidio...we snapped a few self pictures at Inspiration Point while Cora slept in the car.
Lunch at Fisherman's Wharf - SF sourdough really is the best.

Up the hill....Cable Car Musuem...Down the hill. No cable car ride due to too many darn tourists on a Friday afternoon.

Our planned capstone to the day (Bi-rite Creamery) was no go due to lack of parking and loooooong lines - but we'll get it next time!!!
