Back to Illinois: Part III - Cora's Photography

At the wedding reception I let Cora loose with the point and shoot camera and she definitely had a unique angle...lots of floor, legs, and shoulder photos, a smaller subset with her finger over the lens. Here's a selection of her photos with a few decent ones.

Back to Illinois: Part II - the wedding!

The second part of that busy day was seeing Stuart and Kristin get married and celebrate with them!  Got a few good pictures, but one section I badly miss judged lighting and shutter speed and the pictures are super blurry and colored weird :(  So no pictures from that portion.

Tony and Cora outside the church while people were walking in

Cora playing bubbles after the service while we waited for the "departure"

A few poor shots of them leaving the church

Our darling Megan!

Stuart, I, and Conrad (sorry for the poor lighting, having had time edit pictures yet).

Tony entertaining Cora - Tony was an AWESOME daddy on this trip! Not that he isn't everyday :)

Jane watching the bridal party enter the reception. You can see the paper lanterns and the cranes they used to decorate the reception in the background.

Stuart and Kristin entering the reception (you can just see them outlined in the light of the doorway).

Only reasonable picture I got of Conrad and Max together...oh well.

Back to Illinois: Part I - the family!

We're back to Illinois for our second visit this year, and while I was again too busy hanging out and having fun I pulled the camera out a couple times to get pictures to share!

Cora got some solid time to meet and play with her cousin Max, as well as the the aunties and grown up cousins.  She has also learned that she "loves" Lego's ;)

How we primarily saw Conrad  - sleeping ;)

Norma, Barbara, Max, Cora, and I visited the Morton Arboretum. Awesome place to take kids. We only saw about 10% of it, but had a great morning there. Beautiful!

Just a cool architectural piece I liked.

Max showing Norma the little Lego "game" he brought with him.

Playing in a fountain in the children's garden.

One of the many child sized structures in the Children's Garden - Cora loved trying them all out. Max not quite so much ;)

Pumping water!

Giant flowers to play with that represented how big flowers were compared to bees.

Max patiently waiting to go explore a different area.

Darling Norma!

Finally made it to the viewing platform above the maze.
