Christmas is coming!

Still figuring how out to do our loved decorations at the new house but we are getting started with the easy ones!

Bunk bed!

Eva's first time falling asleep in the bunk bed!

This could be the beginning of saying "bye bye" to the crib, or it could go very badly....

Fingers crossed that everyone gets a good nights sleep!

Moving day!

The house is nearly done and today Tony and I started moving items over to the new house!

I think Cora has selected their Halloween costumes for this year when she got glow in the dark skeleton PJs too ;)

2nd Grade here she comes!

The first day started with a bang, photos, lots of silly pictures as requested by the new 2nd grader, and a tearless drop off. Baby sister was sad to leave and kept asking when we would "Pick up Sissa?

Hoping this year goes smoother at school than the last, and that she has a good time and learns a lot. She's growing up fast!

 

Using the potty!!!!

We have had a couple awesome days in Arcadia, and I've been too busy having fun to take pictures (maybe someone will send me some later?), but I needed to note this date since I frequently forget to note 2nd kiddos milestones!

Eva both peed and pooped on the potty today! There is a light at the end of the diaper tunnel! And she stopped playing in the pool all 3 times to tell me she wanted to go!

What a good daddy

So it's 1am in Yosemite and Eva's been awake for almost 2 hours - good times!

Cora was really sweet and came and got in bed with her and held her hand as Cora fell back asleep. Peer pressure didn't work for Eva though. ;)

Luckily she's been pretty happy but acts like it's party time - we've been reciting books, quietly singing Itsy Bitsy Spider etc. And Tony offered to take her for a walk in the stroller. It's cold out, and dark, and I wouldn't have but daddy did and she was thrilled and hopefully returns relaxed or asleep!

Mothers Day

Missing my mom especially today, but got to spend it with these kiddos.

And bonus Tony took them to the zoo long enough that I missed them all! They brought me coffee and buns, drew a rose petal bath for me with a petal aisle to take me there, and then went out for 2.5 hours!

I drank coffee, had my bath, watched Sex and the City while I reorganized my dresser and a storage closet, and ate key lime pie. It was fabulous.

Fairytale Town

Walked over and the girls did a few rides -most note worthy was Cora going on a big kid ride alone, and she loved it!

2017 UC Davis Picnic Day

First time attending the UCD picnic day. I didn't take many pictures but I caught a couple highlights – they both loved the parade which I'm glad we caught because we hadn't planned on it being one of our activities. Ladybugs were also very popular and Eva may be a budding entomologist ;-) sadly the animal lover was having a stroller nap during the animal section

Easter morning egg hunt!

After the initial egg hunt we had breakfast, then continued rehiding eggs for the toddlers to search for :)

We made it to the Sunrise Service!

We made use of Eva's snowsuit again to bundle her up for glorious sunrise service.
