And here's a couple pictures from the Sunrise Easter Service we attended near the riverbank at Glenn Hall Park.

Easter Part II: The Dress
When we went Easter Egg hunting and to the sunrise Easter service it was a little chilly to wear Cora's pretty Easter dress, so because she had to wear it for at least a few minutes we played bubbles outside to get a few pictures of her in the cute dress once it warmed up Easter afternoon.

Daffodil Hill 2012
After our morning of egg hunting we headed out to Amador County (Volcano, CA) to experience Daffodil Hill in all it's springtime glory.
Cora didn't buy into our plan of napping for the hour plus drive there, but rather fell asleep when we had less than 10 minutes to go...so Tony and I had our picnic in the car while she napped in the parking lot. Consequently we got a lot of pictures of her eating, since she was ready to picnic once awake while we were ready to go walk around and see the flowers.

Sitting down for her picnic
Doing her "take my picture" face
Enjoying the sunshine, and her snack
What a cutie!
And my cutie #2!
Ooh, what a cookie!
Lovely day together!
We moved down the trail to have strawberries.
Cheeks full of food :)
Checking out the antique farm equipment, she liked the wheel and the plow.
Keep up mom!
The peacock was there again, but didn't provide the amazing show of last year.
Watching the peacock and all the people.
Obligatory picture of mom and Cora.
Our little darling!
Playing peek a boo!
Rough end to a fun afternoon with a tired little girl.
A hunting we will go! For eggs that is...
Took Cora to the Easter Egg hunt at church...she liked it this year but wasn't as gung ho about it as last year. But she picked up a few and then like opening them and taking the content out and putting the plastic eggs in the recycle/re-use bin.
Sadly it was a little chilly to wear Easter dresses, but a pretty ruffled fleece made a cozy substitute.

Northwest Ho!
Cora, Barbara, and I headed to Oregon to celebrate Norma's 80th birthday this month.
Our trip had a rough start with Cora and I missing our flight Friday morning, waiting for a couple flights to try to get on standby, and finally flying out Saturday morning. So it was a quick trip (coming back Sunday afternoon), but we had a great time together.
Things we crammed into our day+ together - coffee, Cora's nap, lunch at a delicious little place in Dundee (Dundee Bistro), swimming/hot tubbing, dinner from room service, hanging out in the giant bathroom while Cora went to sleep, breakfast at Jory, another quick swim for Cora, and packing up/hanging out - and we were back off!
For the most part we "experienced" the weekend rather than photographed it, but here's a few snaps.

Sitting on the hotel balcony, trying to capture the view on a chilly morning
Better picture of the view from our room, but without the cute model ;)
Reading books together
Cora learned how to use the camera, or at least push the button...her aim is not as good., so there are a lot of pictures of elbows etc. This was a self portrait with flash.
Taking moms picture
Cora digging into her beautiful kids fruit bowl at the hotel restaurant, Jory.
Crabcake Eggs Benedict - the crabcakes were divine and no idea how they made poached eggs in those perfect shapes.
All the ladies together!
Cora enjoyed the shallow parts of the pool
And a paper cup made a fabulous toy
The "take my picture face" in her matching swimsuit coverup
I'm taking a nap mom, look! Just cuddled down for a few quiet minutes, but no real nap.
That's our blue airplane mom!
Barbara found us waiting at our gate for a few more minutes together.
Sorry for the crazy exposures, we were right next to the giant windows.
