Cora at 2 months
So Cora has successfully survived two months with us as her parents ;)
On Jan 21st I weighed her and she was 9 lbs 10.5 ounces, yesterday at her 2 month checkup (4 days later) she was 9 lbs 14 ounces (in the 25th percentile), and inches long (75th percentile).

Cora & Peter (her first stuffed animal)
When Cora was in the NICU one of the nurses suggested wearing a beeny baby type toy around and then leaving it with her when we were gone so she could smell us and hopefully sleep better. Hence Peter. He's the only appropriate type toy we had at home (since Peter the Anteater was the UCI mascot) so we tossed him in the dryer to get any dust off him and wore him around for a day or so. Now he still lives in her bassinet, plus he's great at helping her keep the pacifier in her mouth by giving her a "kiss."

How much for postage?
We were curious how much Cora weighed as she finished up 6 weeks of life and we rang in the new year so we headed to the USPS to find out. Don't worry, we weren't planning to ship her off ;)

She was just over 9 lbs with her diaper, onesie, and a blanket, so she has gained nearly 50% of her birth weight.

She evidently wasn't very impressed with our procedure, but we thought it was kinda cool.
