First time ice skating

Sacramento does a seasonal (small) outdoor ice rink and we decided that we were ready to try it out!

Cora was excited, we were excited....till we got there and tried to put the skates on her. She wasn't so excited anymore.  She wanted to be as far away from the ice skates as possible.

Finally after multiple incentives were offered, declined, and finally one was accepted (a balloon)  we got her out there for 1 successful circle of the the rink. We won't talk about the earlier screaming half lap we made with her ...that never happened, ok?
