Grandparents weeked in Sac
Our respective parents came up to Sacramento for an activity filled weekend - we hit all our local fun spots including the zoo, train museum, train ride, sailing at Lake Natoma, a local ice cream spot, and the hotel hot tub.
The carousel at the zoo is a big favorite of Cora's:
Big girl showing Grandpa around
Watching the fish tank at the Red Panda exhibit
Back to the carousel again, this time riding with Grandma Sharon
Riding the historic steam train from Old Sac along the river, we sat in an open car enjoying the beautiful weather
The yellow train car in the background says "Union Pacific"
Daddy and Cora reading their train tickets
And an afternoon treat at Gunthers Ice Cream shop - Cora sitting in the wooden booth like a big girl (who took her shoes off)
Having some of Daddy's ice cream cone
Mmm, ice cream sandwich good...
Diving in to the treat nicely placed on a pedestal for Cora
Grandpa feeding her the goods from across the table
Looks like Cora's considering what's next
Making faces and taking names
And a little quiet time together after a busy weekend...
