On our way into the valley we stopped at a lookout point and while we were there having a snack a storm moved in resulting in big fluffy snowflakes! Cora was less than pleased with her first interaction with snow - she did not like the cold flakes hitting her! You can see past the parked car behind me how dense the snow was, totally obscuring the view past the parking lot.
Then a few minutes later, it was gone as quickly as it had arrived leaving a beautiful view of the valley below.
After we checked into Curry Village we had a picnic dinner, but that earlier storm had left some chilly weather behind so Cora was "snuggied" into an adult fleece for extra insulation.

A wet winter resulted in some of the best waterfalls we've seen in Yosemite. The major falls, like Lower Yosemite (see here), were full, and there were tons of seasonal falls tracing their way down the granite valley walls.
On our second day in the Valley we rented bikes and Cora had her first experience riding in a bike trailer. Since it was still early the park was so busy that biking was difficult so it made a really nice way to see the valley. Cora was able to nap in the trailer (although she was not a fan of the helmet), we'd stop and take a short hike, bike some more. It was really nice.

Sticks are endless entertainment! And so easy to find :)
She found a little seat in the form of some rock path edging and sat down to contemplate the world, and her stick.
