We had a nice time at Tivoli - we skipped the rides but listened to a couple short concerts and theatre performaces. The last performance we saw was attended Queen Margrethe, who had evidently done the set and costume designs for the new Hans Christian Andersen ballet that was being premiered by The Pantomime Theatre company (who perform almost nightly in the summer at Tivoli).
Compared to Great America, fewer people are there for the rides, and more for the general atmosphere and performances.
